It was there that Miguel co-founded the Latin trio Cascabel and found success writing songs for nationally syndicated TV programs including The Shield and CSI Miami. After returning to Northern  California in January 2011 Miguel Melgoza played Timbales for the salsa band Avance\, subbing for legendary musician Karl Perazzo and played percussion and drums for several top Bay Area bands. In April 2014\, Miguel Melgoza relocated to Phoenix where you’ll find him playing solo several nights a week on acoustic guitar and vocals as well as backing up some of the valley’s best artists on drums or percussion.  \nMusic lovers and performing artists alike are ready to get back to live music experiences. With safety precautions in place\, the 34th season of this popular outdoor concert series will continue! Events will feature homegrown Arizona talent\, an artisan market\, food truck and bar options\, plus several new processes to keep everyone safe including distanced pod seating with RSVP. \nThis event is free with RSVP by pod. RSVP for the first set from noon – 1:30 p.m. and/or the second set from 2:30 – 4 p.m. Gates open 30 minutes before the performance start time. \nPod Seating enables patrons to RSVP as a group while maintaining our social distancing protocols at the event. One pod accommodates up to four (4) people. Leashed furry friends and outside food and drinks (except for alcohol) are permitted. Blankets or low seated lawn chairs are recommended. This is a no smoking event.
