The concerts take place in Scottsdale Civic Center Mall on selected Sunday afternoons from January 12 through March 29. Along with free musical entertainment\, each Sunday A’Fair includes a pop-up arts market. \n\nFeatured Bands:\nJimmy Pines & Washboard Jere\nNoon – 1:30 p.m.\nFountain Stage \nBorn James Dorholt in Minneapolis\, Jimmy Pines has been a fixture of the Phoenix honky-tonk\, blues\, and rockabilly scene for over 20 years and was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in May 2006. \nPreviously\, The Varmits\, The Hoo Doo Kings\, The Rocket 88’s\, El Trio Grande\, Mario Moreno’s Ramblers\, and The Rhythm Room All-Stars benefited from Pine’s talents. These days\, Pines spends most of his time stomping on a bass drum\, banging an acoustic guitar and belting out his original country blues. Pines is accompanied by his beautiful wife\, Jere\, who plays washboard\, assorted eclectic percussion instruments\, and sings\, as well. \nBesides their originals\, they are known to cover blues\, honky–tonk\, and gospel\, though at any time\, Pines may launch into a soaring cowboy yodel. \nThis is a fun\, high-energy\, and versatile duo\, not to be missed.  \nPick & Holler 2 p.m.\nFountain Stage \nPick & Holler plays music from America’s past\, keeping alive the sounds that have brought people together for centuries. The band draws deep from the old-time string band tradition\, Appalachian fiddle and banjo tunes\, and old–timey originals that keep the tradition of storytelling through song alive.   \n\nGuests are invited to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn or low-sitting lawn chairs to enjoy great food\, friends\, and free live performances. Delicious food from the grill\, gourmet desserts\, cocktails\, beer\, wine\, and soft drinks are also available for purchase. Additionally\, patrons can bring their own picnic baskets and pets to the park. \nSchedule is subject to change.
