Yours Truly is a love letter through song to the art form that changed her life.  \nUCAT Summer Series — The Summer of Love explores love in all its forms\, from readings of classic stories retold with a BIPOC perspective to musical explorations and cabarets. There is something different and new in each presentation.  \nAlyssa Chiarello  \nAlyssa Chiarello is a singer/actor who performs all over the Valley\, from The Phoenix Theatre Company stage to being a lead female singer in The Instant Classics band and for Brock Pro Entertainment. Her tour credits include The Alexander Project: A Tribute To The Music of Hamilton and regional theatre credits include The Rocky Horrow Show (Janet)\, Million Dollar Quartet (Dyanne)\, Evita (Evita) In The Heights (Vanessa)\, Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak)\, West Side Story (Anita)\, and Rent (Mimi). Television and film credits include Manley Films\, Warner Bros.\, Paramount Pictures\, and Teranga Productions\, and studio credits include Uber Muse Entertainment\, The Brain\, KOTU Klan\, and Ambient Skies.  \nUnited Colours of Arizona Theatre  \nFounded in 2016\, United Colours of Arizona Theatre began with a Facebook group attempting to create space for BIPOC individuals to convene\, network\, learn\, and thrive within the local fine arts community. The members of United Colours of Arizona Theatre unequivocally support all social justice initiatives\, and as ARTivists\, their mission is to encourage a more equitable landscape within the local theatre community by creating opportunities for workshops\, dance classes\, audition prep\, and more.  \nWith the communities it serves\, United Colours of Arizona Theatre has come to realize there is a lack of access to formal dance training\, classical theatre training\, and vocal lessons. The organization’s initiative fills in that gap by providing workshops to help BIPOC creatives feel prepared in and out of the audition room. The goal is to create a theatre that truly reflects the community.  URL:https://scottsdaleperformingarts.org/event/yours-truly-a-cabaret/2022-08-14/ LOCATION:Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts | Stage 2\, 7380 E 2nd St\, Scottsdale\, 85251\, United States CATEGORIES:Local,Theatre ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://scottsdaleperformingarts.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/UCAT-Generic-800x600-1.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
