Pink Floyd is one of the world’s most popular bands, and the group’s 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon, still holds up as one of the greatest albums of all time—selling more than 45 million copies worldwide and appearing on the Billboard magazine’s top 200 albums list for over 900 weeks! In fact, The Dark Side of the Moon was released 50 years ago on March 1, 1973.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of The Dark Side of the Moon, Shine On Floyd plays the entire album, along with great Pink Floyd classics from Animals, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and more.

Shine On Floyd is an eight-member band made up of dedicated musicians and singers who love Pink Floyd and work very hard to play the iconic songs like “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Time,” “Money,” and more—note-for-note. According to founder/bass player, Scott Fresener, “fans always tell us they close their eyes, and we take them back in time. Many of our core fans have seen the real Pink Floyd in concert, and they rave about how accurate we play the songs, and they love our stage show.”

Of course Pink Floyd was known for having a large video screen, special effects, backup singers, and a laser light show, and Shine On Floyd delivers on the entire experience. The band has a large circle truss video screen playing iconic Pink Floyd background videos. Plus there are large moving lights, powerful lasers, special effects, and more.
