1. Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Glucoside): Ascorbyl Glucoside is converted to Vitamin C in its active form once applied to the skin. This prolonged conversion process ensures a consistent and sustained efficacy on the skin. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that assists with evening skin tone and helps brighten the complexion. It is clinically proven to promote collagen synthesis, reduce skin hyperpigmentation and wrinkles within 6 weeks.
2. Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract: Ascophyllum nodosum is the most active brown algae particularly present on the North-Western coasts of Europe. # 24 volunteers applied the mask twice a day for 28 days on their faces.
* 16 female volunteers (37 to 55 years old) applied the mask twice a day for a total of 90 days to the outer corners of their eyes and cheek area. Silicone replicas of the corner of the eyes and the other treated area were taken on days 45 & 90 and wrinkle depth and skin roughness were measured by profilometry.
